Silk Envoy is a private advisory for families, investors and entrepreneurs moving between Uzbekistan and the world. It was born from our founder's own move, and from the belief that such a step deserves personal care and attention.
I have been where you are now
Four years ago, my whole family moved to Uzbekistan. Not only me, but all of us: the children, our home, our business. And here, in our new home, our child was born.
I remember what it means to learn to live again from the very beginning. Which doctor to trust when a child has a fever in the night. Which kindergarten, which school, and later which university. How to find a nanny you can leave your child with, and a driver you can rely on. How to run a household where every habit, every rule and every address is new.
And at the same time, a new business had to be built, in a country with its own language, its own customs and its own pace.
I went through every business step myself. Registering a company and opening its bank accounts. Becoming an investor in a company that is a resident of IT Park. Obtaining a business visa, and later an IT visa. I know these procedures not from brochures, but from my own documents, my own queues and my own mistakes.
None of it was impossible. We managed, step by step, and often learned the hard way. But I know how much easier it would have been if someone had simply been there to say: this is where to begin, and these are the people you can trust.
That is why I created Silk Envoy: so that the families and entrepreneurs who come after us can feel at home sooner, and return to the life they love without losing months, or peace of mind, along the way.

Moving to a new country is mostly about trust. You need someone who understands both sides and knows where to begin.
Before Silk Envoy, I spent twenty years as the director of a technology company in Lithuania. We built a network of around three hundred partners, became a market leader in security solutions, and carried out some of the first antivirus deployments in the Baltics.
That work taught me how to build relationships across borders and how to make complex projects run on time. Together with my own experience of moving, building a business and joining IT Park in Uzbekistan, it is the foundation Silk Envoy is built on.
